PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SOSIOLOGI (Eksperimen pada SMA Swasta di Jakarta Barat)

Abstract
The differences in learning achievement between students taught by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) and conventional learning method would be identified as one of the objectives of this research. This research is designed with quasi experiment 2 x 2. The dependent variable is learning achievement of Sociology subject, while the independent variables are learning method and learning motivation. The hypothesis of this research was tested through ANOVA two ways with significant level of 5%. The differences between Project Based Learning (PjBL) and conventional learning method proven by the score of statistic test where Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05 and Fcounted = 32,415. It means that there is difference between learning achievement of treatment class to the control class. There is a significant difference between group of high motivated and low motivated students where the score of statistic test is Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05 and Fcounted = 21,061. There is also a significant interactive effect between learning method and motivation where Sig. = 0,036 < 0,05 and Fcounted = 4,726. It means that there is an interaction and significant effect to the learning achievement between learning method and learning motivation.
