PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR BERBICARA BAHASA INGGRIS MELALUI KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find a significant relationship between independent learning and academic achievement speaks English. Research carried out by using correlational survey method. This study used a sample of 30 students were selected by random sampling technique. Meanwhile, the data collection is done by giving a subjective test in the form of an oral test to the student respondents. Once the research is done, then the results can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between independent learning and academic achievement speaks English. Based on calculations for the questionnaire, obtained ?²_hitung  = 7,3, ?²_table = 7,813, and the results obtained learn to speak ?²_hitung  = 7,39 and ?²_table = 7,813. While F_hitung = 0,69 and F_tabel = 2,45. Hypothesis test results for the relationship learn to speak English is t_hitung= 3,97 and t_tabel= 1,70 and X₁ ¹ X₂ because t_hitung > t_tabel and located in areas Ha, Ha accepted and then Ho rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between independent learning and academic achievement speaks English.
