Focus and Scope

Faktor : Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan focused to publish high-quality articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding research, issues, and developments in the fields of Education in a cross settings and levels.

The scope of this journal encompasses, but not limited to:

1. Educational psychology: Psychology helps to understand the child better and development of child with respect of physical, mental, emotional, social adjustment, individual difference, personality, thinking, reasoning, problem solving

2. Methods of teaching: In ancient time the learners were passive listeners but now they actively participate with the teacher in the process of education. So, the skill and proficiency of difference teaching methods needs to be developed.

3. Philosophy of education: Philosophy of education covers aims of education, nature of education, importance of education, function of education its very old and essential part of education.

4. Educational Sociology: A student lives in the society so it is important for him to know about the society the nature of society, type of society, interdependence between culture and society.

5. Problems & issues of education: This scope includes problems of teaching management of education and suggestion and remedies for it.

6. Educational administration and supervision: The educational institution and the system must be supervised and administrated smoothly so that the process of education goes well. Regulation of fund, democratic administration, autonomy, personnel management etc.

7. History of Education: It is also important to know background, origin, development, growth, and aspect of the subjects. It includes various methods and technics that apply during instruction.

8. Economics of education: For the growth of business and market the world class economical education is important for each and important.

9. Environmental education: Ecological in balances have drown the attentions of intelligence today. So, looking at the environmental problems study of environment education has great importance.

10. Educational technology: It is very recent branch that has come under the scope of education. It makes education a technical and systematic subject through application of technology in teaching-learning process.

Peer Review Process

Faktor : Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan is a double-blind peer-reviewed Journal. This means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees for contribution, originality, and relevance.

Reviewer selection is critical to the publication process, and we base our choice on many factors, including expertise, reputation, specific recommendations and our own previous experience of a reviewer's characteristics.

We check with potential reviewers before sending them manuscripts to review. Reviewers reserves the right to reject the script if the script review didn't match to the fields/expertise. Reviewers should bear in mind that all correspondences in this journal contain confidential information, which should be treated as such.

In general, we need two month to inform you about the results. Totally, peer review process estimated time consuming up to three months.

 

Publication Frequency

Faktor : Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan published three times a year (March, July, and November)

 

Archiving

To ensure the continuity of data article that has been published to be accessible to everyone, the editor took the policy of every issue of Faktor : Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan for doing digital archiving at the National Library of Republic of Indonesia. The manuscript has been published each issue delivered to the national library as much as two copies and via OAI.

Each Member of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpusnas RI) and has had a number of legitimate members, has the right to make use of our online digital collection write-up (e-Resources).

To become a member of Perpusnas RI, please do registration online via http://keanggotaan.perpusnas.go.id, or by visiting the PERPUSNAS in service building at Jalan Salemba Raya 28 Jakarta Pusat or Jalan Merdeka Selatan 11 Jakarta Pusat.

Faktor : Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan also implementing PKP Private LOCKSS Network (PLN) preservation function.
