Author Guidelines

Inference: Journal of English Language Teaching encompasses original research articles and review articles (not preferable). All manuscript shall be written in good Indonesian or English. The submission should not been published, submitted for publication elsewhere, or extended version of previously published papers in conferences and/or journals.

1. Inference: Journal of English Language Teaching accepts research manuscripts which have not been published elsewhere. The manuscript should cover the area of language education, linguistics, translation, and literature.

2. Manuscript is written in English (essay style), typed in MS Word.doc format, using 12 size Times New Roman font, two columns, single-spaced on A4-size paper, 3000-6000 words length excluding references.

3. Manuscript will be reviewed by subject reviewers. Editors reserve the right to edit manuscript for format consistency.

4. Manuscript contains: (a) TITLE should be less than 12 words, using 14 size Times New Roman font; Author’s name(s), Author’s affiliation (department, faculty, institution), Address of affiliation, and Author’s email, (b) ABSTRACT (max. 250 words), Keywords, of which in 3-5 words, (c) INTRODUCTION without heading, which includes review or related literature and research purpose, (d) METHOD, (e) RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, (f) CONCLUSION, (g) REFERENCES, (h) APPENDICE (if any).

5. Quotations and references should comply with the APA style (http://www.apastyle.org).

6. The sources cited should at least 80% come from those published in the last 10 years. Every source cited in the body of manuscript should appear in references.

7. Proofs will be sent to the author for correction and should be returned by the deadline given.
