Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Media Instruksional Berbasis Augmented Reality pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk Para Guru Sekolah Luar Biasa

Abstract


Pengajaran bahasa Inggris masih menjadi tantangan bagi para guru khususnya pada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) di Sekolah Luar Biasa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di SLB Mahardika, Depok, Jawa Barat bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru berupa pengetahuan dan pengalaman penggunaan media instruksional berbasis Augmented Reality (AR). Metode pelaksanakan PkM diimplementasikan dalam tiga fase yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Peserta PkM diikuti oleh para guru semua level di SLB Mahardika. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM menunjukkan respon yang positif yang diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner yang diberikan kepada guru meliputi pra-program PkM, selama progam PkM berlangsung, pasca program PkM, dan tindak lanjut pasca PkM. Kegiatan PkM berimplikasi tidak hanya bagi para guru SLB namun juga guru sekolah lainnya untuk lebih percaya diri dan mengoptimalkan dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajarn berbasis AR dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris.
