Abstract
Abstract. This research uses the expose facto method. The independent variables in this study include learning styles and mathematical disposition and the dependent variable in this study is the ability to solve mathematical problems. The samples in this study were 86 students chosen randomly from all students of class XII of SMA Negeri in Serang City. Data analysis techniques, analysis prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. Data analysis uses two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Research results 1) There is a significant influence of learning styles on problem solving ability as evidenced by the test results obtained with sig values. = 0.047 <0.05 and Fcalculate = 3.185 2) There is a significant influence of mathematical disposition on problem solving ability as evidenced by the test results obtained with the sig value. 0,000 <0.05 and Fcount = 143.566. 3) There is an insignificant interactive influence of learning style and mathematical disposition on the mathematical problem solving ability of high school students in Serang City, this is evidenced by the test results obtained sig. = 0.740> 0.05 and Fcount = 0.303.
Keywords: Visual learning style, Auditory learning style, Kinesthetic learning style, High mathematical disposition, Low mathematical disposition, and Mathematical problem solving ability.
