Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perception of learning styles and self-efficacy together on mathematics learning achievement, to determine the effect of perception of learning styles on mathematics learning achievement, to find out self-efficacy on mathematics learning achievement. The sample used by 60 students as a research sample using proportional random sampling techniques from all high school students in South Jakarta. Data collection was carried out by giving tests of understanding of mathematical concepts and distributing questionnaires. Data analysis consists of testing research instruments with validity, reliability ,. Then the requirements analysis test is done with the normality test and homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression. This research was conducted in September 2019 until January 2020. Based on the results of the hypothesis and data analysis, several things were concluded as follows: 1). There was a significant influence of perception of learning styles and self-efficacy together on the mathematics learning achievement of high school students in South Jakarta. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0,000 <0.05 and Fcount = 36.335, 2). There is a significant influence of perception of learning styles on mathematics learning achievement of high school students in South Jakarta. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0,000 <0.05 and tcount = 3.907, 3). There is a significant effect of self-efficacy on mathematics learning achievement of high school students in South Jakarta. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.003 <0.05 and tcount = 3.049. The implications of this research to improve students 'mathematics learning achievement can be done by striving to improve students' learning style perceptions, that is, by getting students to learn. In addition, there needs to be an increase in self-efficacy so that students who interact with the teacher especially during the course of learning can get encouragement to learn. If the learning style is improved, so that it can improve students' good mathematics learning achievement.
