Abstract
Abstrak
This study aims to determine the effect of learning models and learning independence on the mathematical representation ability of state junior high school students in the city of Tangerang. This study used an experimental method, with a population of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri in Tangerang City, and through a proportional random sampling technique a sample of 64 people was obtained. Inferential analysis technique is done by two-way ANOVA statistics using the SPSS application program. The results prove that the learning model and learning independence affect the ability of mathematical representation.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran dan kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMP Negeri di Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dengan populasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kota Tangerang, dan melalui teknik sampling acak proporsional diperoleh sampel sebesar 64 orang. Teknik analisis inferensial dilakukan dengan statistik anova dua arah dengan menggunakan program aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran dan kemandirian belajar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis.
