Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine: (1) the influence of learning styles on students' ability in solving math problems; (2) the influence of self efficacy on students' ability in solving math problems; (3) the interactive influence of learning styles and self efficacy on students' ability in solving math problems. The research method used is an Ex Post Facto survey method using two-way ANOVA analysis. The research population consists of tenth-grade students at private vacational high schools in East Bogor in the odd semester of the academic year 2023/2024, with a sample size of 77 students. The research results show: (1) there is an influence of learning styles (A) on students' ability in solving math problems (Y) at a private vacational high school in Pondok Aren Subdistrict; (2) there is no significant influence of students' self efficacy (B) on their ability in solving math problems (Y) at a private vacational high school in Pondok Aren Subdistrict; (3) there is no significant interaction effect of learning styles (A) and self efficacy (B) on students' ability in solving math problems (Y) at a vacational high school in Pondok Aren Subdistrict. The ability to solve math problems  can be improved y enhancing self efficacy, especially in students with a kinesthetic learning style. Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : (1) pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika; (2) pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika; (3) pengaruh interaktif gaya belajar dan efikasi diri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei Ex Post Facto menggunakan analisis dua jalur (ANOVA dua arah). Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X pada SMK Swasta di Kecamatan Pondok Aren semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 dengan jumlah sampel 77 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar (A) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika (Y) siswa SMK Swasta di Kecamatan Pondok Aren; (2) Terdapat pengaruh tidak signifikan efikasi diri siswa (B) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika (Y) siswa SMK Swasta di Kecamatan Pondok Aren; (3) terdapat pengaruh interaksi yang tidak signifikan gaya belajar dan (A) dan efikasi diri (B) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika (Y) siswa SMK Swasta di Kecamatan Pondok Aren. Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah matematika dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan efikasi diri khusunya pada siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori.
