Pengaruh Kecerdasan Spiritual dan Kecerdasan Emosional Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Sains (Survey pada Pesantren di Kabupaten Bogor)

Abstract


Empirically while teaching in pesantren, it is proven that the piety of modern pesantren students greatly affects learning outcomes. And this is interesting to do research. This research will strengthen experience into theory. So research was conducted by linking the variables of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence with science learning outcomes in boarding schools. The purpose of this study was to determine 1) The joint influence of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence on science learning achievement for boarding school students in Bogor Regency. 2) The effect of emotional intelligence on science learning achievement for boarding school students in Bogor Regency. 3) The effect of emotional intelligence on science learning achievement for pesantren students in Bogor Regency. The method used is survey method, and data processing using path analysis. The sample used 94 students as the research sample using proportional random sampling technique from all Islamic boarding school students in Bogor Regency. Data analysis consists of testing research instruments with validation and reliability tests, and a series of tests as a prerequisite for this study. Based on the hypothesis results and data analysis, it can be concluded as follows 1) There is a significant joint influence of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence on science learning achievement for Islamic boarding school students in Bogor Regency by 34.1%. This is evidenced by the value of Fcount = 23.564 and the significance value = 0.000 <0.05. 2) There is a significant influence of spiritual intelligence on science learning achievement for Islamic boarding school students in Bogor Regency. This is evidenced by the value of tcount = 5.787 and significance value = 0.000 <0.05. 3) There is a significant influence of emotional intelligence on science learning achievement for Islamic boarding school students in Bogor Regency. This is evidenced by the value of tcount = 6.349 and the significance value = 0.000 <0.05.
