Menurunkan Perilaku Bullying Melalui Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Role Play pada Siswa

Abstract


Bullying is a prevalent issue in Indonesia. Datta from the Miniistry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (KPAI) records that between 2011 and 2019, 574 boys and 425 girls were victims of bullying at school, with 440 boyss and 326 giirls as bullying perpetrators in school settings. This research aims to decrease bullying behavior among X TAV A students at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga in the 2023/2024 academic year through group guidance employing role-playing techniques. The study uses a quasi-experimental design, specifically a pre-test post-test control group design. The research population consists of 36 X TAV A students at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga, with a sample selected through purposive sampling, including 14 X TAV A students exhibiting high levels of bullying behavior. Data were gathered using a bullying behavior scale and anallyzed via the Mann-Whitney U test. The mean rank post-test result for the experimental group wass 4.00, while tthe controll group was 11.00. The analysis results reveal a significant reduction in bullying behavior after students received group guidance using role-playing techniques (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed = 0.002 < 0.05). These findings support the research hypothesis, with Ho rejected and H1 accepted, showing that group guidance with role-playing techniques effectively reduces bullying behavior among sttudents.
