ADVERSITY QUOTIENT GURU SMK DI MASA PANDEMI: STUDI FENOMENOLOGI DI SMK PERGURUAN CIKINI JAKARTA

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis Adversity Quotient (AQ) guru SMK Perguruan Cikini dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi fenomenologi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai AQ yang diimplementasikan dalam pelaksanaan PJJ adalah daya juang yang tinggi, pandangan optimis, kecakapan hidup untuk mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan situasi baru, kemampuan kontrol diri, dan kemampuan regulasi diri ketika menghadapi situasi yang sulit. Ada satu nilai pembangun AQ yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini, namun tidak terdapat dalam teori AQ yang dikemukakan oleh Paul G. Stoltz. Nilai tersebut adalah nilai transendental. Temuan dari penelitian ini yang dapat memperkaya kajian mengenai AQ adalah mengenai eksistensi dimensi transendental pada pengelolaan kesulitan dalam kehidupan manusia. Terdapat peluang untuk meneliti lebih lanjut mengenai nilai transendental sebagai komponen dalam AQ serta bagaimana dimensi ini dapat diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan dengan melibatkan kerangka dasar yang lebih luas tentang nilai-nilai spiritual dan etika yang memengaruhi perilaku siswa dan guru dalam konteks pembelajaran.
