Penerapan Absensi Digital Berbasis Barcode Scanner Pada Mts Mathlaul Anwar

Abstract

Advancements in science and technology greatly facilitate the acceleration of work processes. Systems that deliver instant results with high accuracy are highly sought after by institutions or organizations to improve time efficiency. This is precisely the goal of MTs Mathlaul Anwar, which aims to enhance the efficiency of teaching hours and streamline the preparation of student attendance reports. Utilizing Java NetBeans as the programming language and MySQL as the database, a digital attendance recording system was developed to simplify report generation, offering benefits to both the school and parents. The developed software includes features that support student attendance tracking and report generation. Additionally, the software enables the printing of student cards with barcodes, allowing attendance to be recorded exclusively through these printed cards. Based on research conducted at MTs Mathlaul Anwar, it is evident that the implementation of a student attendance system provides substantial support in report generation for both the institution and its educators.
