Focus and Scope

Faktor Exacta is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that investigates new developments and original research across the fields of computer science, informatics, and their practical implementations. The journal welcomes contributions that explore theoretical advancements, experimental studies, and innovative solutions, which include but are not restricted to the following areas:

  • Informatics & Computer Science: Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Mining and Big Data, Multimedia, Mobile Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Games Programming, Privacy and Data Security.

  • Applied Technology: Automation and Control Systems, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Smart Grid and Energy Technology, Signal Processing applications, Smart Cities, and Instructional Technology in Engineering.

  • Applied Science: Computational Mathematics, Data Analytics and Statistical Modeling, Computational Physics, Operations Research, Optimization Techniques, Material Science Simulations, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Research and Scientific Publishing.

Peer Review Process

Faktor Exacta is a double-blind peer-reviewed Journal. This means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees for contribution, originality, and relevance. Reviewer selection is critical to the publication process, and we base our choice on many factors, including expertise, reputation, specific recommendations and our own previous experience of a reviewer's characteristics. We check with potential reviewers before sending them manuscripts to review. Reviewers reserves the right to reject the script if the script review didn't match to the fields/expertise. Reviewers should bear in mind that all correspondences in this journal contain confidential information, which should be treated as such.

In general, we need two month to inform you about the results. Totally, peer review process estimated time consuming up to four months.

Archiving

lockss This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
