Penerapan Project Management Pada Proyek Sistem Penjualan Motor Berbasis Geografik

Abstract


The work of monitoring and controlling motorcycle sales is needed by a motorcycle distributor and sales company in order to increase the market share of motorcycles in Indonesia. The company urgently needed a tool to monitor and control motorcycle sales, which was a geographic-based information system tool. The company handed over the work of creating the information system to a third party, so it needed a project management framework to do the work together. The purpose of this research is to prepare a project management framework that can support a successful system development project. The method to be used is the application of the PMBOK framework which consists of standardized process groups and knowledge areas. The results showed that the planning of the development of a geographically based motorcycle sales system can be ensured success by implementing project management that follows the standards in the PMBOK framework.
