Abstract
Abstract: This research to determine the effect of learning motivation and perception of pedagogical abilities of teachers to the learning IPS. The research method used was survey. Data was collected by questionnaire directly to the sample. The analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, multiple correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. Statistical test used t test and F test.Results showed the effect of learning motivation and perception of pedagogical abilities of teachers together to learn social science achievement of students with regression analysis. It has the sense that the variables of learning motivation and ability Pedagogical Teachers make a positive contribution to the achievement variable learn IPS. From the equation shows each increase of one unit of learning motivation will improve student achievement significantly 0,452 units. Similarly, each increase of one unit of pedagogical abilities of teachers of 0.148 units significantly. Furthermore, together show that the variable of learning motivation and ability pedagogical teachers can determine an increase learning achievement 52.2 percent (Koef. Determination R2 = 0.522 with a value of test F = 20.175)
