PRESTASI BELAJAR GEOGRAFI DITINJAU DARI LATAR BELAKANG KELUARGA DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR

Abstract
Abstract : This study was to determine the extent of the influence of family background and learning motivation on student achievement, especially high school students on geography subjects. The method used was survey with correlation and regression analysis. Data on the variables of family background and motivation to learn is obtained through a questionnaire prepared by the researchers, (1) there is a significant effect of family background and motivation to learn together to achievement learn geography, this is evidenced by the Sig = 0.000 <0.05 and value of F = 40.789; (2) there is a significant effect of family background on the learning achievement of geography, this is evidenced by the Sig = 0.001 <0.05 and value t = 3.567; and (3). significant influence learning motivation towards learning achievement of geography, this is evidenced by the Sig = 0.000 <0.05 and value t = 3.952.
