PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SMAN DI JAKARTA TIMUR

Abstract


ABSTRACT 

The purpose of this research is to know the effects of the effects of emotional intelligence toward mathematic achievement at senior high school in east jakarta.  This study uses a quantitative approach with survey method. The data were analyzed using regression techniques to test the hypothesis. Sample of the research was 450 students which was detemined by using random sampling technique. 

The result show that: there was direct effect of emotional intelligence toward  mathematic achievement. Thus, it is expected that all teachers are always trying to develop their teaching competencies in various ways by involving multiple intelligence specially emotional intelligence to achieve better students mathematic performance.

ABSTRAK

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika di SMA di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik regresi untuk menguji hipotesis. Sampel penelitian adalah 450 siswa yang diperoleh dengan teknik random sampling.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat pengaruh langsung kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Dengan demikian, diharapkan semua guru selalu berusaha mengembangkan kompetensi mengajar mereka dengan berbagai cara dengan melibatkan kecerdasan majemuk khususnya kecerdasan emosional untuk mencapai hasil matematika siswa yang lebih baik.
