Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to determine the role of student motivation and perceptions of students on the school environment together teradap social studies achievement. The method used adala survey method. Samples taken as many as 60 people with simple random technique. Data was collected by questionnaire directly to the sample. The results showed: 1) There is a positive influence on students' motivation and perceptions of students on the school environment to the learning achievement of IPS, it is proven on the F count = 5.883> F table = 3.17 and the value of Sig <0.05. Scores simple correlation coefficient r = 0.414 which is significant, and the score of the coefficient of determination r2 = 0.171, which means THAT contribution of student motivation and student perceptions of the environment of the school to the student achievement IPS by 17.1%. 2) the positive influence students' motivation towards learning achievement IPS with a score of t (2.212)> t table (1.64) at ? = 0.05. 3) There is a students' perceptions influence on the environment of the school to the student achievement scores IPSdengan t (2.766)> t table (1.64) at ? = 0.05, which means that the contribution of the perception of students on the school environment to the learning achievement is very large IPS.
