PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DAN KONSEP DIRI TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP KIMIA (Eksperimen pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Tangerang )

Abstract
The research aims to analyze and test the truth of hypotheses regarding the effect of learning models and self-concepts on understanding chemical concepts. The research hypotheses tested included 1) The Effect of Learning Models on the Understanding of Chemical Concepts, 2) The Effect of Self Concepts on Understanding Chemical Concepts, 3) The Interactive Effects of Learning Models and Self Concepts on Understanding Chemical Concepts. The experiment was conducted at a state high school in Tangerang Regency. The population is class XI high school students with a large sample of 80 students. The research instrument used was a test of understanding the chemical concept of multiple choice forms of 25 questions that had been tested for homogeneity with a sig value of 0.307> 0.05. Data analysis uses two-way analysis of variance (Anova). The results of hypothesis testing obtained the following conclusions: 1) There is a significant effect of the Learning model on the understanding of the chemical concepts of high school students in Tangerang District, this is evidenced by the sig value of 0,000 <0.05 and Fh 138,879; 2) There is a significant influence of self-concept on the understanding of chemical concepts of high school students in Tangerang Regency, this is evidenced by the sig value of 0.001 <0.05 and Fh 12.842; 3) There is an interactive influence that is significant Learning models and self-concepts on the understanding of chemical concepts of high school students in Tangerang District, this is evidenced by the sig value of 0.020 <0.05 and Fh 5.623. The results of this study have the implication that to improve understanding of chemical concepts at the high school level, teachers should use the Group Investigation learning model and improve students' self-concepts.
