PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN PERHATIAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIKA (Survey pada siswa kelas XI SMA di Depok)

Abstract
Abstract: The influence of parents' learning motivation and attention on the ability to think critically in mathematics. This study aims to determine: 1. The Effect of Parents 'Motivation and Attention on Critical Mathematical Thinking Abilities, 2. The Effect of Motivation on Critical Mathematical Thinking Abilities, and 3. The Effects of Parents' Attention on Mathematical Critical Thinking Abilities. The population in this study were high school students of class XI high school in Depok in 2019-2020 with a sample of 89 students taken by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research method used is correlation and regression analysis. Before conducting a hypothesis test, a data requirement test is performed, namely the normality test, linearity test, and multiple regression. From the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) There is a significant influence of learning motivation (X1) and parents' attention (X2) together on the critical thinking skills of mathematics in high school students in Depok (Y). This is evidenced by sig 0.001 <0.05 and Fcount = 7.876, (2) There is a significant influence of learning motivation (X1) on the critical thinking skills of mathematics in high school students in Depok (Y). This is evidenced by sig 0.041 <0.05 and tcount = 2.071 and (3) There is a significant influence of parents' attention (X2) on the critical thinking skills of mathematics in high school students in Depok (Y). This is evidenced by Sig 0.019 <0.05 and t = 2.3392.
