PENGARUH KECERDASAN LOGIS MATEMATIS DAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know: (1) the effect of mathematical logical intelligence and mathematical problem solving ability together on the mathematical problem solving ability of students of state junior high schools in Bogor Regency, (2) the effect of mathematical logical intelligence on students' mathematical problem solving abilities State Junior High Schools in Bogor Regency, and (3) the effect of the ability to think critically mathematics on the ability to solve mathematical problem solving of Junior High School students in Bogor Regency. The research method used in this study is a correlational survey with correlation and regression techniques. Data collection was carried out using a test instrument distribution technique with a sample of 90 students. From the results of the analysis it was found that (1) There is a significant influence of mathematical logical intelligence and the ability to think critically mathematics together on the ability to solve mathematical problem solving of state junior high school students in Bogor Regency. This was proven by Sig. = 0,000 <0.05 and Fcount = 316.681. (2) There is a significant influence of mathematical logical intelligence on the mathematical problem solving ability of students of state junior high schools in Bogor Regency. This is proven by Sig. = 0,000 <0.05 and tcount = 6.636. (3) There is a significant influence on the ability to solve mathematical problems on the mathematical problem solving abilities of State Junior High School students in Bogor Regency. This is proven by Sig. = 0,000 <0.05 and tcount = 10.663. The implications of this study, namely mathematical logical intelligence and critical thinking skills in mathematics can improve the ability to solve mathematical problems.
