Abstrac
Background of this research is the students assumption that mathematics is difficult that influence on the learning outcome. This mathematics learning outcome was influenced by many factors such as logic-mathematics intelligence and visual-spatial intelligence. Logic-mathematics intelligence is score an ability to operates basic mathematical calculation, identifying a sequence with specific matematical patterns and completing that sequences, identify and operates basic calculation in the form of equations, solve mathematics problem inductively, solve mathematics problem deductively, solve mathematics problem, and solve mathematics problem logically.
Mathematical logical intelligence is a score on the ability to optimize the potential that exists in students. Research conducted The aim of this research is to study the effect of intelligence and mathematical learning styles of students who are equally on the understanding of chemical concepts in private high schools in the city of Bekasi. This research is a type of quantitative research using regression analysis. The research sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique, with the research of all grade X students of private high schools in Bekasi City. The sample in this study were 60 class X students.
The results of the study have a significant influence on intelligence of Mathematical Logic and the perception of learning styles together towards the achievement of chemistry learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. 0,000 <0.05 and Fo = 98,966 Together variables of Mathematical Logic intelligence and perception of learning styles contribute 77.60% to the achievement of chemistry learning outcomes. There is a significant influence of Mathematical Logic intelligence on understanding chemical concepts. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. 0.001 <0.05. and t = 3,317. The contribution of mathematical logic intelligence to understanding chemical concepts is 33.6%. There is a significant influence of Learning Style Perception on understanding chemical concepts. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. 0,000 <0.05 and tcount = 4.265. The contribution of Mathematical Logic intelligence to the understanding of chemical concepts is 41.342%.
