Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the influence of cognitive style and student learning attitude together to understanding Chemistry concept, to know the influence of cognitive style to understanding Chemistry concept and to know the residual learning attitude toward Chemical understanding of Vocational students in Bekasi. The sample used by 60 students as the research sample using the proportional random sampling technique from all Private SMK students in Bekasi. Data collection was done by giving the concept comprehension test and questionnaire distribution. The data analysis consists of testing the research instrument with validity, reliability, and test. Furthermore, the test requirement analysis with normality test and homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression test. This research was conducted in January 2018 until May 2018. Based on the result of hypothesis and data analysis, it is concluded that some things are as follows: 1) There is a significant influence of cognitive style and student learning attitude together towards understanding the concept of Chemistry students in private SMK in Bekasi. This is evidenced by 1) Sig = 0,000 <0,05 and Fhitung = 16,656 2). There is a significant influence of cognitive style on understanding Chemistry concept of Private Vocational students in Bekasi. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.007 <0.05 and thitung = 2.478 . 3) .There is a significant effect of students' learning on understanding the concept of chemistry. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.009 <0.05 and tcount = 2.583. Keyword
