Abstract
ABSTRACT
The research aims to analyse and verify the truth of the hypothesis regarding the learning motivation and learning discipline effect on the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects. The following research hypotheses are being verified: 1) The learning motivation and learning discipline together affect the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects. 2) The learning motivation affects the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects. 3) The learning discipline affects the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects. The research employed Probability Sampling with cluster random sampling to identify a sample of 94 students. The instruments used were a questionnaire of learning m otivation, a questionnaire of learning discipline, and secondary data on the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects from the final semester assessment in 2023-2024 odd semester. The research's findings indicated that: 1) The learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects at State Vocational Schools in Bekasi Regency was significantly affected by both learning motivation and learning discipline when combined. This is proven by the Sig value 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount of 77.690. 2) The learning motivation has a significant effect on the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects at State Vocational Schools in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by the Sig value 0.000 < 0.05 and Tcount of 7.058. 3) The learning discipline has a significant effect on the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects at State Vocational Schools in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by the Sig value 0.000 < 0.05 and Tcount of 7.109. The results of this research are useful for improving the learning achievement of grade X students in the Natural and Social Sciences Project subjects at the Vocational School level.
