PENGARUH PEMAHAMAN KONSEP BIOLOGI DAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR BIOLOGI (Survei pada SMA Swasta di Kabupaten Bekasi)

Abstract

This research purpose is to determine: 1) The influence understanding both of biological concepts and critical thinking skills together in achievement of studying Biology, 2) The influence of understanding biological concepts in achievement of studying Biology, 3) The influence of critical thinking skills in achievement of studying Biology. This research was carried out by conducting a survey of private Senior High School students in Bekasi Regency. The method used is a survey method with multiple linear regression analysis. The samples used were 85 students spread across Tunas Bangsa Lippo Cikarang Private High School, President Cikarang Private High School, Don Bosco 3 Cikarang Private High School. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that 1) There is a significant influence of understanding biological concepts and critical thinking skills together in achievement of studying Biology of private Senior High School students in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by the acquisition of Sig. 0.001 < 0.05 with Fcount = 85.866, 2) There is a significant influence of understanding biological concepts in achievement of studying Biology of private Senior High School students in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by the acquisition of Sig. 0.037 < 0.05 with tcount = 3,844, 3) There is a significant influence of critical thinking skills in achievement of studying Biology of private Senior High School students in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by the acquisition of Sig. 0.023 < 0.05 with tcount = 3.523.
