Abstract
The research aims to determine (1) The influence of perceptions of the Laurillard learning type and thinking routines seen together on the science critical thinking abilities of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency. (2) The influence of perceptions of Laurillard's learning type on the science critical thinking abilities of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency. (3) The influence of thinking routines can be seen on the science critical thinking abilities of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency. The research was conducted using a survey method. The sample in this research was 60 students with a linear regression statistical model. Hypothesis testing showed that: 1) there was a significant direct influence on the perception of Laurillard's learning type and thinking routines which were seen together on the science critical thinking abilities of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency with a score of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount 10.125. 2) there is a significant direct influence of the perception of Laurillard's learning type on the science critical thinking abilities of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency with the achievement of Sig. 0.010 < 0.05 and tcount 2.659. 3) there is a significant direct influence of thinking routines on the science critical thinking abilities of private junior high school students in Bogor Regency with the achievement of Sig. 0.06 < 0.05 and tcount 2.859. To develop critical thinking skills in science, this can be done through the application of the Laurillard learning type and visible thinking routines in the teaching and learning process.
