PENGARUH GAYA KOGNITIF DAN KREATIVITAS BELAJAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH FISIKA (Survei Expost Facto pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bogor)

Abstract


The educational process involves a lot of learning activity, one of the lessons is physics. Physics requires problem solving skills. This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of cognitive style towards physics problem solving ability of Senior High School students in Bogor Regency, 2) the effect of learning creativity towards physics problem solving ability of Senior High School students in Bogor Regency, 3) the interactive effect of cognitive style and learning creativity toward physics problem solving ability of Senior High School students in Bogor Regency. The research was conducted using ex-post facto survey method with two way ANOVA technique. The sampling technique used was multistage sampling with a total sample of 84 students. The results showed that: 1) There is a significant effect of cognitive style towards physics problem solving ability of Senior High School students in Bogor Regency. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. = 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount = 18.652. 2) There is a significant effect of learning creativity towards physics problem solving ability of Senior High School students in Bogor Regency. This is evidenced by the Sig value. = 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount = 42.490. 3) There are significant interactive effects of cognitive style and learning creativity toward physics problem solving ability of Senior High School students in Bogor Regency. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. = 0,022 < 0,05 and = 5,446.
