Abstract
This study aims to (1) the effect of perceptions on the learning of behavioristic theory and the student learning environment together on learning independence in science subjects, (2) the effect of perceptions on the application of behavioristic theory on learning independence in science subjects, (3) the influence of the environment student learning towards learning independence in science subjects. The research method used in this research is to use survey research. The population in this study was 526 students who were distributed in three junior high schools in Tangerang. The sample in this study were 84 private junior high school students in Tangerang. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using multiple regression techniques. The results of the study show (1) there is a significant influence on the perception of the application of behavioristic theory and the student learning environment together on learning independence in science subjects. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. = 0.000 <0.05 and Fh value = 22.837. (2) there is a significant influence of perceptions on the application of behavioristic theory to learning independence in science subjects. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. = 0.000 <0.05 and the value of th = 4.165. (3) there is a significant influence of the student learning environment on learning independence in science subjects. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. = 0.000 <0.05 and the value of th = 4.191.
