Abstract


This study aims to analyze and test the truth of the hypothesis regarding the Effect of Self-Concept and Self-Efficacy on Learning Achievement in Natural Sciences of State Junior High School students in Tangerang Regency. The research hypotheses tested include: There is a significant effect of self-concept and self-efficacy together on learning achievement of natural science students of SMP Negeri in Tangerang Regency. The research was conducted by survey method, analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing are concluded as follows: 1) There is a significant effect of self-concept and self-efficacy together on learning achievement of natural science (IPA) students of SMP Negeri in Tangerang Regency. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount = 24,879. 2) There is a significant influence on the influence of self-concept on the learning achievement of natural science (IPA) students of State Junior High Schools in Tangerang Regency. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. 0.000<0.05 and tcount = 6.895. 3) There is a significant direct effect of self-efficacy on learning achievement in Natural Sciences (IPA) of State Junior High Schools in Tangerang Regency. This is indicated by the value of Sig. 0.000< 0.05 and tcount = 2.124.
