PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of Natural Sciences material on the structure of the earth and its dynamics through the application of the Project Based Learning model to class VII.E students of SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bekasi. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.E SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bekasi, totaling 38 students. The time of the research was carried out in Semester II of the 2020/2021 Academic Year, namely January to June 2021. The research method used was Classroom Action Research. Methods of data collection using tests, observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study obtained data on the results of the learning evaluation test with an average class value in the pre-cycle of 71.26 with classical completeness of 47.37%, which increased in the first cycle with an average grade of 77.58 with classical completeness. 73.68%, experienced an increase again in the second cycle with the obtained class average value of 80.95 with 94.74% classical completeness. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the project based learning model can improve learning outcomes of natural science students in class VII.E SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bekasi
