Research methods used in this research is a survey method that involves students JSS in the district of Pasar Rebo, namely: SMP Negeri 184 Jakarta, MTs Country 33 Jakarta, and SMP Negeri Jakarta 103. Sampling technique used is stratified random sampling with the number of samples in the study as many as 100 students. Research instrument in the form of the now independence and self-concept, as well as a test problem-solving mathematics essay. This is experimental research, with posttest only control group design. The population is 50 of Accounting XI students in Widya Bhakti Vocational School in Ruteng, Flores. Samples grouping on nonprobability sampling, that is saturated sampling where all of this population members are used as samples. The sample in the experimental class was all 24 students of class XI Accounting 1 who received treatment problem-based learning, while the control class sample was all 26 students of class XI Accounting 2 who received conventional learning. Data is collected through tests in the form of description questions.</p>A prerequisite test was carried out before testing the research hypothesis: the normality test and the homogeneity test. The results of these prerequisite test are data in two groups indicated as normally distributed and both are homogeneous. Then, the research hypothesis was tested using t-test. Obtained and on a significance level of and degrees of freedom. Because then is rejected while is acceptable. In this case, the average value of critical thinking skills in the experimental class, the average value of critical thinking skills in the control class. This research was conducted in class XI students of Kutai Kartanegara District Senior High School in Academic Year 2018/2019. The sampling technique uses stratified cluster random sampling which is based on the national average test scores for the mathematics year 2017/2018. In the upper category schools, selected Tenggarong Superior 3 High School, selected middle school category Samboja 1 Public High School and 1 Muara Jawa Public High School, selected lower category school Sangasanga 1 High School. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the study it was found that there was an effect of the academic potential test on the mathematics learning achievement of the students of Class XI Public High School in Kutai Kartanegara District</em></p><p>Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh tes potensi akademik siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. This study, the learning model that wants to be explained to students is the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model. This study used a quasi-experimental method with the Pre-Experiment Designs (no designs) design form. Respondents taken were eighth-grade students of AT-TAQWA Middle School, Central Jakarta in the 2013-2014 school year. During the study, the treatment was given 6 times. Obtained the highest score 88 lowest score 48. Average score 68.65. Median 68,875 Mode 69.5. The standard deviation of 10.26. And variance 113,19.
