Bibliometric and Network Analysis: Case Based Learning Model Based on Statistica Preneurship to Strengthen Data Analysis Ability and Resilience of Mathematics Students Mardhotillah, Bunga; Universitas Jambi Kamid, Kamid; Universitas Jambi Huda, Nizlel; Universitas Jambi Zurweni, Zurweni; Universitas Jambi Mathematics and Natural Science Education case based learning, student resilience, data analysis ability, student creativity Educators present complex cases in the form of realistic problem scenarios that are relevant to the topic studied in case-based learning. Case-based learning provides an opportunity to analyze content by first introducing core knowledge domains and encouraging students to search for other knowledge domains that may be relevant to the problem given in the case. The learning theory underlying this research is constructivist learning theory. Learning Model Development can be interpreted as the development of new learning models or modification of existing learning models. The  development of new learning models aims to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. Statisticspreneurship as one of the integration factors in this research, is used with the consideration that statistics is an important and useful science in various fields, such as economics, social, education, health, technology or the environment. Statistics can help in making rational and data-based decisions. Statistics can also help in developing more advanced and innovative science and technology. Evaluation of entrepreneurship education can be carried out using various methods and indicators, such as knowledge or skills tests, attitude or behavior surveys, product or service portfolios, or case studies of success or failure. The evaluation results can be used to develop entrepreneurship education in a sustainable manner. Another integration factor in this research is student resilience. A key aspect of student resilience is the perception of academic stress and coping strategies. This study also found that problem-focused coping, emotion focused coping, and social support were positively related to academic resilience, while problem-solving coping in the form of avoidance was negatively related to academic resilience. Belief System Theory in Learning Mathematics: The Case of Basic Education in the Philippines Ablian, Joemark Dela Peña; Limay Polytechnic College Aquis, Angelica Barquilla; Polytechnic College of Botolan Mendoza, Lester Flores; Polytechnic College of Botolan Devera, Renz Dragon; Polytechnic College of Botolan Famularcano, John Lloyd Dumlao; Polytechnic College of Botolan Dumlao, Prince Mark Daes; Polytechnic College of Botolan Mathematics education Beliefs in learning Mathematics, values in learning Mathematics, attitude in learning Mathematics Understanding how students learn mathematics concepts is an essential factor in shaping how the students view the subject and building a solid foundation in their ability to apply these ideas. The study aimed to address the existing gap by investigating Rokeach’s Belief System Theory through the lens of Mathematics learning. The study uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to explore the connections between beliefs, values, and attitudes in mathematics learning from the 518 randomly selected elementary students. The findings revealed a direct connection between these three main constructs, highlighting that a positive belief about mathematics increased students' perceived worth of the subject, which developed positive attitudes, resulting in a self-reinforcing cycle that supported and improved mathematical learning and engagement. With this, different stakeholders may foster a more supportive and engaging learning environment for the learners. Teaching students in context, connecting concepts to real-life scenarios, and emphasising relevance and value will foster deeper understanding, motivation, and achievement in mathematics. Digital Game-Based Learning Interventions on Students' Numeracy Skills and Engagement Sari, Nenden Mutiara; Universitas Pasundan Yaniawati, Poppy; Universitas Pasundan Supianti, In In; Universitas Pasundan Indriani, Rina; Universitas Pasundan Mathematics Education Games-Based Learning, Numeracy Skill, Engagement, Mixed-Method, Elementary Student Numeracy skills play a crucial role in various aspects of life, both in mathematical learning and in daily life. Numeracy is the key to understanding and mastering various mathematical concepts. However, several research findings indicate that these skills are still relatively low. The low numeracy skills are attributed to the low engagement of students in mathematical learning. When students feel actively engaged in learning, they tend to be more motivated to learn and better able to understand the concepts taught. One effort to engage students in learning activities is by interestingly presenting learning content. Digital game-based learning is expected to improve numeracy skills and student engagement in mathematical learning. This study is a mixed-method research. The participants in this study were fourth-grade elementary school students divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group. The instruments used were numeracy ability tests and observation sheets. The results of the study indicate that (1) the numeracy skills of students who received digital game-based learning are better than those of students who received traditional learning; (2) there are differences in the mean numeracy skills of students based on the intensity of playing games; and (3) Student engagement in digital game-based learning is classified as very high. Analysis of Students' Self Regulated Learning Using Augmented Reality Media on Solar System Material at Class VII SMP Supriasih, Eka; Masters Program in Physics Education FKIP, Sriwijaya University, South Sumatera, Indonesia Fathurohman, Apit; Masters Program in Physics Education FKIP, Sriwijaya University, South Sumatera, Indonesia Sriyanti, Ida; Masters Program in Physics Education FKIP, Sriwijaya University, South Sumatera, Indonesia With the implementation of some limited face-to-face learning, the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic have now started to significantly fade from education. This forces instructors to be creative so that children can still learn independently. Students who get inadequate online instruction generally behave passively when receiving offline instruction. To deal with the issues of 21st-century learning, technological use, the selection of interesting learning models, and media that are in line with the characteristics of the material, especially abstract material, are still necessary. To prepare students for real life and improve learning, technological application and the growth of student learning independently are important. The purpose of this study was to examine how media augmented with augmented reality helped students learn independently. There are up to 27 students in the seventh grade at SMPN 3 Rantau Bayur in this qualitative descriptive study. A student learning independence questionnaire was designed to collect data, and it was triangulated using learning observation sheets and teacher interviews. The three stages of the data analysis technique, according to Miles Huberman (1992), are data reduction, data presentation, and summary. The percentage technique was used to examine the learning independence data collected. As according statistics from the learning independence questionnaire, the average percentage in the medium category is 61 percent. Analysing The Different Students’ Science Mental State between Regular Students, Grey Students, and Special Needs Students in Inclusive Schools: A Case Study Muharam, Ghevira Syaharani Aulia; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Rahmat, Adi; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Winarno, Nanang; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Prima, Eka Cahya; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Special Education; Science Education Inclusive School, Science Mental State,Special Need Students For educators and schools, implementing inclusive education has brought both opportunities and obstacles. Students' mental health has a significant impact on their capacity to participate in and excel in science classes. This study aimed to analyse the differences in the mental state of science between regular and special needs students within an inclusive school. The research subject is 42 students in grades 7, 8, and 9 from one of the inclusive schools in Bandung. The sample was divided into regular, grey, and special needs students based on the school classification obtained. This study used a quantitative method survey research design. A mental state learning environment questionnaire (MSLEQ) and open-ended questions were used as instruments to assess students’ science mental state. The data was analysed by using the SPSS Program one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result shows that there are at least two significant differences in students’ science mental state scores between regular students, grey students, and special needs students. Based on the post-hoc Tukey HSD test, a significant difference is shown between regular students and grey as well as special needs students. The mean index analysis of each factor shows that the significant difference is in external mental representation. Most regular and special needs students argued that experiments made them more interested in learning science. Meanwhile, most of the grey students failed to describe their opinions. Regular students explained that many scientific terms to be memorised made them less interested in learning science. Grey students are more likely to avoid experimenting. Meanwhile, students with special needs were given unrelated answers about what made them less interested in learning science. Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability of Grade IX Students in Solving Ill-Structured Problems Umbara, Hanifa Dina Aulia Dewi; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Jupri, Al; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Dahlan, Jarnawi Afgani; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Mathematics Education Junior high school, Mathematical critical thinking ability, Ill-structured problems Students' mathematical critical thinking ability (MCTA) in Indonesia is still low, and one contributing factor is that students are not accustomed to solving non-routine problems, including ill-structured problems. This research aimed to explore the mathematical critical thinking ability (MTCA) in solving ill-structured using a qualitative approach with a case study method. This research involved 24 grade IX students from a junior high school in Bandung City, Jawa Barat Province, who had learned quadratic equations. Data were collected through a written test on MCTA and follow-up interviews. The results reveal that students fail to meet the MCTA indicators due to their lack of practice in solving contextual problems on quadratic equations and ill-structured problems. In addition, to gain a deeper understanding of mathematical critical thinking ability and the ability to solve ill-structured problems, future researchers could use two separate instruments, as these abilities involve distinct cognitive processes: convergent thinking and divergent thinking. Evaluation and Restructuring National Education Standards Damanik, Jafriansen; Universitas Indraprasta PGRI Leonard, Leonard; Universitas Indraprasta PGRI National Education Standars, Evaluation, Restructuring, Indonesia The Indonesian government has emphasized the need for National Education Standards, which are a reference for the quality of education at every level of education, both formal and non-formal. National education standards are the minimum criteria for the education system in all jurisdictions of the Republic of Indonesia. After being established through Government Regulation No 19 of 2005 on National Education Standards, the national education standards need to be evaluated and if necessary restructured. The government regulation states that the national education standards should be improved in a planned, directed and sustainable manner in accordance with the changing demands of local, national and global life. Evaluation needs to be carried out on the national education standards as a whole, covering the eight components of the standards and reviewed from various aspects. In evaluating and restructuring the national education standards, this can be done by reducing the standard content indicators, simplifying the standard aspects and reducing the standard components. Based on the results of this study, the author concludes that it is necessary to restructure the national education standards by reducing the number of standards to four: graduate competency standards, content standards, process standards and assessment standards. While the other four standards can be considered not to be set as part of the national education standards, because they are already regulated in the national education regulations. The Intersection of Education and Local Environmental Issues: Secondary Students' Views and Actions on Peatland Ecosystems in Global Warming Phenomenon Kurdiati, Lintang Auliya; Physics Education Study Program, Universitas Sriwijaya Fathurohman, Apit; Physics Education Study Program, Universitas Sriwijaya Susiloningsih, Esti; Primary Teacher Education Study Program, Universitas Sriwijaya Education Peatland Ecosystems, Views, Actions, Secondary School Students The escalating degradation of peatland ecosystems, coupled with the urgent global warming crisis, has raised concerns about the role of education in fostering environmental awareness and actionable solutions among younger generations. This study explores secondary students' views and actions regarding peatland ecosystems within the context of global warming. The purpose is to examine how education influences students' understanding of peatlands' role in climate change and the actions they take to mitigate environmental impacts. Using a mixed-methods design, semi-structured interviews and surveys were conducted with 105 students from grades 10 to 12 in Indonesia. Findings reveal that while students possess a strong awareness of peatlands' importance, their actions toward conservation remain limited. Many students express concern about global warming and peatland degradation but face barriers such as insufficient local initiatives and a lack of actionable knowledge. The study concludes that while education fosters awareness, there is a need for more practical, community-based learning opportunities to bridge the gap between knowledge and action. Implications suggest that integrating environmental education with hands-on conservation projects, as well as promoting stronger governmental and community involvement, could enhance student engagement in peatland conservation and other local environmental issues. Discovery Blended Learning in Biology: Its Effectiveness on Self-Efficacy and Student Learning Outcomes in the New Normal Era Ningsih, Elsa Listiani Cahya; Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Jayanti, Ummi Nur Afinni Dwi; Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara education Discovery Blended Learning, Self-efficacy, Learning Outcomes The limited face-to-face interaction has reduced school hours and resulted in students having difficulty understanding the lesson and completing assignments given by the teacher, and this caused a decline in learning outcomes. Optimizing the learning process in the new normal era will be effective by applying blended learning. One of the learning models that can support students is blended learning with discovery learning models. Through the discovery blended learning (DBL) model, students become more active in the learning process. This model can increase students' self-efficacy and collaboration with peers in the class because students feel confident and can solve a problem. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of blended learning with discovery learning models on self-efficacy and learning outcomes in Biology subject during the new normal era. This research is a quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent control of pretest-posttest group design. Data analysis was carried out by using the N-gain test and independent t-test. The results indicate that there is a significant difference in effectiveness in the class using DBL on student learning outcomes and self-efficacy with the control class using the conventional model. In DBL syntax, students' ability in formulating problems and finding concepts independently, and presenting results can help students improve learning outcomes and self-efficacy. The DBL model can be used as an alternative model to support students learning Biology at the high school level (SMA/MA) in Indonesia so that students are more active in discussions to solve problems related to the subject matter. This model is also expected to guide students to find concepts independently so that students become more confident and believe in their abilities, especially in the new normal era. The Effectiveness of The Song-Assisted Discovery Learning Model on Science Learning Outcomes at Sragen 06 State Elementary School Wati, Putri Sih Fanta; Semarang State University Sutikno, Putri Yanuarita; Semarang State University Education learning outcomes; science; discovery learning model This study aims to test the effectiveness of the song-assisted Discovery Learning learning model for science students’ learning outcomes. This happened because students still needed clarification about sorting digestive organs. This study uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study is grade V students of Sragen 6 State Elementary School, Sragen Regency, with a total of 62 students. Sampling was conducted with saturated samples, with 25 V-A students as the control class, 25 V-B students as the experimental class, and 12 as the instrument trial. The data collection techniques used are written tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using prerequisite tests include instrument validity and reliability, initial data analysis with normality and homogeneity tests, and final data analysis using t-test and n-gain test. The study results showed a positive effectiveness of using the discovery learning model with an increase in the learning outcomes of grade V students; the calculation value was more significant than the table (3,767 > 2,012). H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a difference in learning outcomes between the pretest and posttest in learning using the Discovery Learning learning model. Based on the above analysis, the posttest results show that the learning outcomes between the experimental class are higher than those of the control class. The difference is due to the treatment difference between the experimental and control classes. This study concludes that the discovery learning learning model effectively improves the learning outcomes of grade V students of Sragen 6 State Elementary School. The suggestion for this study is that teachers need to apply the discovery learning model as one of the innovative learning models to improve student learning outcomes.  Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indraprasta PGRI 2024-10-28 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Peer-reviewed Article application/pdf https://journal.lppmunindra.ac.id/index.php/Formatif/article/view/24830 10.30998/formatif.v14i2.24830 Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA; Vol 14, No 2 (2024): Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA; Vol 14, No 2 (2024): Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA 2502-5457 2088-351X 10.30998/formatif.v14i2 eng https://journal.lppmunindra.ac.id/index.php/Formatif/article/view/24830/7113 Copyright (c) 2024 Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0

School and Student Well-being: Effects on Biology Learning Engagement Patricia, Putri; Universitas Sriwijaya Meilinda, Meilinda; Scopus ID: 57196089337 - Universitas Sriwijaya Destiansari, Elvira; Universitas Sriwijaya Nisrina, Nur Salwa; Universitas Sriwijaya Kurniawan, Dedi; Universitas Sriwijaya school well-being; student well-being; student engagement; biology learning Well-being is closely linked to prosocial behaviour and mental health. However, research on the impact of school and student well-being on student engagement—specifically in the context of learning biology at schools with varying accreditation levels—remains limited. This study aims to examine the influence of school and student well-being on student engagement in biology learning at senior high schools with A, B, and C accreditation. Using a quantitative, correlational approach, this study employs multiple linear regression analysis to interpret and statistically analyse data from a sample of 177 students. The results reveal that both school and student well-being significantly impact student engagement in biology, regardless of the school’s accreditation level. This suggests that irrespective of accreditation, students' engagement is significantly enhanced when classrooms provide safe, comfortable conditions, positive social interactions, and supportive teachers. Furthermore, while schools with different accreditation levels may vary in resources, fulfilling essential well-being components, such as a caring and supportive environment, contributes to sustained student engagement. The findings of this study are intended to guide schools, teachers, and stakeholders in prioritising well-being to foster higher student engagement in classroom settings. Mathematics Learners’ Performance and Academic Achievement at a Public High School Institution in Leyte, Philippines Cabuquin, Jomar Cobacha; Eastern Visayas State University Abocejo, Ferdinand Tesado; Eastern Visayas State University Mathematics education; teaching and learning; pedagogy; educational management Academic Achievement; Comparative; Correlational; Junior High School Learners; Mathematics Performance This study examined the correlation between mathematics performance and academic achievement of junior high school learners in a government-run laboratory high school institution and compared the mathematics performance and academic achievement of male and female learners. Correlational and comparative research designs were employed to analyze the gathered secondary data. Findings revealed a positive and highly significant correlation between the learners' mathematics performance and academic achievement, indicating that high school learners who are adept in mathematics tend to succeed and perform better in their academic courses. Whereas low performance in mathematics correspondingly connotes low achievement in overall academic abilities. No significant difference was found between male and female learners, suggesting that both genders of learners can succeed academically. The study concludes that mathematics performance and academic achievement go hand in hand, while gender does not affect the learners' ability to excel in mathematics. Effectively, secondary learning institutions must provide mathematics learners with learning opportunities during Mathematics classes and classroom activities regardless of gender. Teachers must help learners understand how to solve problems and think critically, expose them to real-world applications, and build their confidence and motivation to excel academically.  Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indraprasta PGRI 2023-09-14 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Peer-reviewed Article application/pdf https://journal.lppmunindra.ac.id/index.php/Formatif/article/view/17235 10.30998/formatif.v13i2.17235 Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA; Vol 13, No 2 (2023): Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA; Vol 13, No 2 (2023): Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA 2502-5457 2088-351X 10.30998/formatif.v13i2 eng https://journal.lppmunindra.ac.id/index.php/Formatif/article/view/17235/5982 Copyright (c) 2023 Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0

The Effectiveness of the Dynamic Learning Program (DLP) on Students’ Science Process Skills among 7-Grade Students Dela Cerna, Justo Retuya; SOUTHERN LEYTE STATE UNIVERSITY Langub, Marie Khul Cabalo; Southern Leyte State University Social and behavioral sciences Keywords: dynamic learning program, science process skills, learning activity sheets This study looks into the effect of the Dynamic Learning Program (DLP) through the use of a Learning Activity Sheet in improving the science process skills of Grade 7 students in a rural secondary school in the Philippines. A mixed-method quasi-experimental design was utilised, with 47 students in each group, the experimental group exposed to the DLP and a control group following traditional teaching methods. Pre-tests and post-tests measured students' proficiency in the science process skills (SPS): observing, classifying, communicating, measuring, inferring, experimenting, and predicting. Results showed that the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements in classification, communication, and measurement skills, while other skills, such as observation and experimentation, showed minimal to no improvements. The thematic analysis of reflective journals shows positive student perceptions of the Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) used in the DLP, emphasising the ease of use, increased engagement during class, and a sense of responsibility in learning. Students in the experimental group expressed a preference for LAS over traditional notebooks, citing the structured format and the clear, task-oriented approach that promoted independent learning. Although there are some limitations in terms of SPS improvement, the study concludes that DLP is an effective strategy for enhancing science process skills, particularly in schools with very limited resources. It was further recommended that future research focus on optimising DLP to improve skills such as observation, inference, and experimentation.  Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indraprasta PGRI 2025-02-28 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Peer-reviewed Article application/pdf https://journal.lppmunindra.ac.id/index.php/Formatif/article/view/25576 10.30998/formatif.v15i1.25576 Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA; Vol 15, No 1 (2025): Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA; Vol 15, No 1 (2025): Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA 2502-5457 2088-351X 10.30998/formatif.v15i1 eng https://journal.lppmunindra.ac.id/index.php/Formatif/article/view/25576/7415 Copyright (c) 2025 Formatif: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan MIPA http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0

Task and Forced Instructional Strategy: Instructional Strategy Based on the Character and Culture of the Indonesian Nation Leonard, Leonard; Universitas Indraprasta PGRI instructional strategy, task and forced, Indonesian character The application of instructional strategy must consider the characteristics and students' culture to get an optimal learning result. The Indonesian character is to be based on this strategy and not finish the task well if there is no compulsion or punishment. This character is a background of purpose tasks and forced instructional strategy. This strategy emphasised a routine task and a plan for the students, noticing the deadline for finishing the task and the punishment if the task is not finished well. This strategy can be an alternative strategy to increase learning quality, especially to develop the student's awareness about how studying is important for them.
